You! Yes, you. Please step into my office…

I’m not sure why but I’m seemingly turning into a ferocious beast.

We recently had an office ‘vacated’ and as the not so proud owner of a cubicle near the bathrooms, you can bet I was vying for the new space before the exiting body was even cold.

I begged, I pleaded, and in the end…

Will you please step into my office?

I’m not sure why I like those words so much… other than it means I have an office… with a real door.

In other ferocious news, I’m not a big fan of unnecessary violence against animals. If you plan on eating them… go right ahead but otherwise, be nice.

Well… that was before I owned a yard and had to PAY to replace dead plants.

Suddenly I’ve got the itch to tear gopher heads off and burn the dead bodies.

I’ve decided to do Fall Foliage tours in my backyard. The difference is, photosynthesis will not be involved like back east – in my yard, decomposition gives the leaves the yellow hue.

Proceeds from the tour will be used to purchase new plants... and bulk poison.

I’m working on planning Chris and my anniversary trip. We were going to do Kauai this year but Chris can’t be gone more than 4 days (stupid school & dedication to good grades) and by the time you get a 5.5 hour flight in there, you’d have no time left - so we’re staying local…ish. I’m thinking – the wine country.

Temecula!

Temecula isn’t the wine country??!?!

Well, regardless, I’m still figuring out what to do within a 1-2 hour flight or drive. I really can’t think of anything exciting in AZ, OR, or NV. And NO, Vegas isn’t an anniversary trip folks. So Trampy!!

Since you're trying to think of something...I'm going to Santa Barbara with Grandpa Stan this weekend. Taking Friday off, driving up mid day to miss the worse Hell-Lay traffic – 3.5-4 hour drive. Head back Sunday afternoon. Beach, culture (ha), and wine country. I’ll let you know how it goes. Could be a possibility...

Temecula!?!?!?!?!? What about good ole San Diego? How many times have dad and I just pretended to be tourists in our own town. It was really rather nice. You could always stay in Coronado (Aunt Liz and Uncle Byron's fav) or in Old Town, my personal favorite. Those Victorian houses are great to stay in. And the night life here is really fun. Just a thought. You should take a real, honest to goodness tour like we did in New York. Give it some thought.

P.S. Okay, okay, that is some HOT pink background. It's nice to see the picture of you two again. Why is it so small?

Check out http://www.theinnatrsf.com/ . It was a pretty nice place and only 10 minutes from Torrey Pines. Lots of snobby people though so beware!

I forgot to also mention the Pacific Terrace Inn where Aunt Liz and Uncle By stay when the kids are with them. Dad and I have stayed there as well and it is really nice, especially if you get a room that faces the ocean. Remember when dad took me there for an anniversay or something and he wanted to open the sliding glass door and listen to the waves for a bit before we left for dinner. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Yeah that did it!!
AND how can you forget the cabins on the pier. I LOVED that place. Ah....so many choices here. I liked Nicole's idea too. That so fits you. :-)
